Hi, I'm Brett.

I've been enthusiastic about film and video my whole life. Back in 1988, I took a class in television studio production, and I've been hooked ever since. I got my BA in Communications and found a particular love of editing and post-production. Since graduation, I’ve had a number of different jobs helping people to tell their stories in the best possible way.

Right now, I'm looking for new opportunities that will make use of my various talents in video production that utilize my creativity and educate others.

Background

Growing up in New England, I love the water, especially messing around in boats. While I've always had an eye for pictures, I didn't become a true shutter-bug until cameras got integrated into cell phones. That accessibility encouraged me to take a lot more pictures.

When I'm not helping others to tell their stories, I'm creating my own. As a life-long gamer, I have been passionate about computer games, role-playing games, and especially live-action games (or LARPs) for over thirty years. LARPs are a great combination of acting, sports, team building, and problem-solving.

In 2019, some friends and I started Studio 404 Games, LLC as a way to produce our own gaming content. This includes creating our own settings, as well as sharing tools to help others improve their games.
